About Sonia
I am an experienced, Australian educated (Masters in Teaching, Victoria University; Secondary Science).
I am have done Masters in Science from Delhi University (India) and have 5 years of teaching experience in India and Australia and taught in school and university students. I am also AVID (Advancement via individual determination) trained which is a well-recognized teaching method to improve student educational outcomes.

My teaching philosophy is that a teacher should use and alter teaching strategies to suit students' needs. I use various strategies to assess student’s knowledge, and modify my teaching strategy to cater to individual needs. Using subject content, I also focus on building other scientific skills in students, such as problem solving and inquiry skills, which are extremely important in science.
