About Adam
Many years ago, I pursued a TOEFL Certificate because my wife is Japanese and we were looking for a way to live abroad closer to family. Though I never pursued that, I had since learned Software Engineering at Flatiron School, became an on-demand instructor of coding for students upon graduation, and then later embarked on a career as a Developer. I'm currently in the midst of my eMBA from Quantic School of Business & Technology, slated for graduation in February of 2024.
In the past I pursued screenwriting and even acquired a manager, so one might say I'm an expert not only at communication, but finding ways to bring life to a conversation.
I'm well versed with fiction as well as non-fiction and entertainment, this will ensure that you aren't speaking an "academic" and thus boring version of English. But English that's impactful, conversational, and designed to generate excitement and empathy in your listeners.

The instruction I'm offering is not basic reading and writing skills, but how to work towards masterful communication. The type of student I would be most qualified to help would be someone who can speak and understand English, but lacks the confidence to conquer meetings, whether virtual or real.
For a first lesson -- if looking at a 60 minute model, we would spend the first 10-15 minutes in conversation so I can determine where you're at, and also give you the opportunity to express what you're aiming for. The next 25-30 minutes will focus on role playing impromptu situations tailored to your goal, we will pause throughout so I can provide feedback. The final 15-20 minutes, you will practice reading out loud from content on the internet -- this final activity will serve to create a template for self study. Lastly, we will close with book recommends that not only improve your English, but include valuable lessons for mastering communication.
If you intend to commit for a longer term, perhaps weekly for a month or two, we can modify the first meeting to hash out a plan that works for you.
