About Maria
My tuition is engaging, focused and relevant to help students enjoy learning and stay motivated. I have a Masters in Education from the Institute of Education, London ranked no 1 for Education in the University World ratings. I've been teaching English- Common Entrance at 11+ and 13+, GCSE English Language and Literature, IELT'S and Business English for 30 years with high exam pass rates. My students have progressed to prestigious UK Public schools, Universities as undergraduates and postgraduates and obtained promotion in their professional careers

My teaching method is always learner centred. In my first meeting with a new student I will assess their strengths, weaknesses and barriers to learning and work to their particular style of learning. I aim to challenge, motivate and increase my learners confidence by using a number of different teaching methods using interesting , relevant resources.
