About Maryam
Currently I work as a Teaching assistant in a school.
Providing support to children who need additional support with their work.Reinforce lessons presented by teachers by reviewing material with students one-on-one or in small group.Helping pupils develop independent learning skills, manage their own learning and prioritise their time.Working mainly with KS1 and KS2 pupils.I also gained knowledge of the national Curriculum and learning initiatives and how to interact with children of all needs.Have also experience of working with KS1 children and also assisting Year 2 children with their SAT's.Responsible for motivating children and helping them to improve their reading.Also have experience of working as private tutor.Preparing children for ks1 and ks2 SAT and 11 plus exams.Identifying students' strengths and weakness.Preparing lesson material for tutoring lessons and providing parental feedback on a regular basis.Encouraging and praising the student as and when needed.
