About Margarita
I am a current graduate student at LSE, studying Media and Communications, and a recent graduate from St Andrews, with a degree in International Relations. Originally from Russia, I grew up in the US where I was a National Merit Scholar, and later immigrated to the UK for university.

My teaching methodology is making students feel comfortable expressing themselves in English, as building confidence is essential in effective communication and comprehension. While I am proficient in grammar rules and believe that they are important, the greatest struggle most students have in becoming fluent in a language is being comfortable expressing themselves. Mistakes are necessary to truly understand how a language works, and the only way to correct those mistakes is through conversation with a native speaker, who can explain and put into practice often unspoken rules.
