About Sean

I'm Sean and I love all things science, in particular physiology, biology, biochemistry and sport science/PE. I love tutoring because it enables me to share my enjoyment for science with pupils, whilst improving their grades and giving them the best chance of moving on to the next stage of their education/career. My tutoring sessions provide the opportunity to not only achieve better grades but also to improve your confidence and understanding of difficult concepts.

I can offer biology (A-Level, GCSE), chemistry (GCSE) or physical education (A-Level, GCSE) tutoring. I will start by discussing the topics that you see as weak areas and then structure the session around them. I will teach content based upon the key terms that will get you marks in the exam. My sessions will start by ensuring you understand the relevant content for this exam and then will be based on going through past paper and/or specimen questions. I can either go through questions you have answered prior to the session or break down the points I would write for each question. My aim is to then leave you with specific revision targets and tasks for outside the session, to help you towards your goals. I continually refined my exam skills throughout my education, so I can give you helpful guidance to help you constantly assess the quality of your own revision as you go along. I believe learning is an active process, not a passive one and so will be constantly testing and stretching you throughout to ensure that you are always learning. I have nearly 300 hours of experience online tutoring and have helped many different students to hit or exceed their target grades.
