RISD admitted, SVA $60,000 and SAIC $80,000 scholarships. As a current undergraduate student, I understand the pressures and expectations of the college application process, and I am well-versed in what colleges seek in their incoming freshmen.

In terms of my skills, I possess an advanced level of proficiency in realistic, creative, and observational drawing and painting, well-versed in digital art techniques. I am skilled in almost all 2D mediums. Oil, acrylic, watercolor, gouache, pastel, color pencil, charcoal, collage. etc. Even film photography. Beyond traditional 2D artworks, I am also skilled in sculpture, like clay, wood, etching works, etc.

About the lesson

For the initial class, I will require students to submit their recent artworks across various fields. This allows me to assess their artistic capabilities and preferences, and tailor a specific portfolio plan accordingly. I will inquire about their intended major and university preferences to gain a comprehensive understanding of their goals and aspirations. I will present some of my recent works in the first class if needed.

I am fully capable of guiding students who wish to apply for majors in illustration, fine arts, character design, animation, etc. To ensure a smooth and successful journey, I will create a precise timeline tailored to your specific goals and deadlines. This timeline will outline key milestones and important tasks, such as portfolio development, research on target universities, preparation for interviews, and submission of applications. I will diligently remind you of critical points throughout the process, ensuring that you stay on track and meet all necessary requirements. I will provide demos when needed.

The specialized course is designed for students in grades 8 to 11 who are wishing to prepare their portfolio, pre-portfolio or AP Art portfolio. Both English and Mandarin are applicable.
