About Bryana
Hi and hope you're doing well and staying safe. My name is Bryana Johnson, but you can call me Bryana. I have been a tutor for about 3 years now. I help students set goals and explain why particular class activities are useful, so that students understand how the lesson content relates to their goals. I have learned that by teaching students in this manner they will be more enthusiastic when they better understand how the lessons are helping them. I love tutoring because it is a huge stepping stone in helping students achieve their goals and to be a part of helping to make that happen is amazing! I will continue to work with each student until we are happy with their progress and until they show improvements.

My teaching methods are interactive as well as independently. My techniques will include but not limited too will be:
-Helping students to become independent learners.
-Give students the necessary study skills to be able to use and practice their English confidently,
-Students learn to make requests, accept offers, explain things, and express their feelings and preferences.
My lessons are for grades pre-k through high school for English, Science, and Social Studies and grades pre-k through middle school for Math.
My typical lesson plan will be focusing on all skill areas such as reading, writing, speaking, listening, as well grammar and vocabulary, so students develop across the board.
Something's that sets me apart from all other tutors is that I will give helpful constructive feedback and helps them understand and learn from it. I will take 5 minutes before each lesson ends to make sure my students understand the assignments and homework and to answer every question, comment, and or concerns that they may have.
Another thing that sets me apart from other tutors is that I believe that giving and receiving regular feedback to and from students is very important, as it helps me grow as a tutor as well as be aware of how students perceive lessons and to also make sure that the students understanding the assignments. I will also do this with structured weekly tutorials and through informal conversations with students to make they are happy.

Bryana is such a sweet, patient, and
understand young lady. She takes her time to teach my kindergartner. One thing I love about her tutoring, is she doesnt think she knows it all.She likes to take feedbacks and suggestions from the parents to better assist her students. Bryana helped my 6 year old daughter with her 2 weakness spot which is English and Math. Bryana have always been on time with their sessions and she have also created a personalized and very helpful learning technique to get my daughter to really engage and also have fun while learning!! She also made sure to keep me updated with all of my daughter's tutor lessons as well as gave me updates on how she is progressing!!
