About Jasmine
I've had the pleasure of teaching English to 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade students. We would spend time traveling through the minds of various authors, analyzing their writing, writing our thoughts about their body of work, and discussing our different points of view. Within that, we've spent time learning proper grammar techniques to help make their writing stronger and easier to understand.

The lessons I design are engaging through discussion questions, writing time (the Writer's Cafe), and read-aloud to help you hear unfamiliar words and encourage you to read aloud.
In a typical lesson cycle, I'll introduce the new material, and show you how to approach the content, we'll do it together, then you'll be able to show me how you approach it using the tools given during our lesson.
