About Hernán

Graduated as a Teacher of English for the 3rd cycle of Secondary School and Polimodal Education, I have been working as a teacher in both public and private institutions for 18 years now. Although I have gone through other work paths through the years, I've been working as a full-time teacher since 2003. My experience in this profession ranges from classroom classes, private classes, private institutes, Cambridge International Exams and online tutoring. But I also teach courses in Phonetics and Phonology (pronunciation and fluency). I've done translations and a little subtitling (yes yes, I've seen episodes of Game of Thrones before they premiere!). Let's say that I like to innovate to avoid falling into the routine.

About the lesson

My classes are relaxed. I am demanding, but I respect above all else the learning rhythm of each student. A mate, a tea or a coffee are always welcome. I always include audiovisual material on which to work and I try to keep myself updated with the current multimedia trends. Within a communicative approach, my objective is to achieve natural learnings that come hand in hand with the topics of interest of each student. What is my premise? That you learn and at the same time have fun doing it.
