About Emily
I am a teacher with a BA in English and a MA in education from the College of William and Mary. I started tutoring writing in college, where I worked as a tutor in the writing center. Since then, I have assisted students with preparing for English SOL tests, taught summer school fast track reading and writing courses, and tutored students in English privately. My summer school classes achieved a 100% pass rate on the ACT Workkeys assessments. I have also tutored ESL students who were able to pass their English assessments and go on to graduate from high school.
