About Joseph

I have over a decade of experience teaching K-12 students in foreign language learning. I have native fluency in English and near-native fluency in Russian. I have extensive experience tutoring students in language, writing, chess and other subjects online and in person.

I have a Master’s degree in Slavic Languages and Literatures from the University of Toronto, graduate credits in Ukrainian language and culture from Harvard University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Russian and Food Science from Brigham Young University.

I have experience working in classrooms, offices, and laboratories. My well-rounded education and life experiences help me to make connections with a wide variety of students.

About the lesson

My lessons are tailored to your unique needs! My approach engages all four linguistic domains: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. We will build your vocabulary, refine your grammar, and improve your comprehension at whatever level you are at. I look forward to working with you to set your goals and help you to achieve them!
