About Eva-Maria
I am an English student currently taking an interruption year after completing my first year at Royal Holloway, University of London, looking to use my now free time to share my passion for English. I achieved AAA at A level and a 2:1 in my first year. I have provided private lessons to students from my prior comprehensive school and local area for the past 2 years, mainly ranging from the age of 13 to 17.

My teaching method is largely student centred. I believe that in order to receive the best quality of education, the student should feel confident in interacting with the content and feel comfortable asking questions. I do not believe in a complete authoritative teaching method, but prefer to to personalise the teaching to the student’s own specific needs and base it around what they find easiest to understand and learn from. I enjoy creating clear and concise presentations, portfolios, posters and worksheets in which the information is condensed and will be expanded on during the lesson. The student and I will discuss the topic in greater detail, and will then be encouraged to make notes on the which are generally easy to process and learn from.
