About Ted
I have been a teacher of English since completing my MA at Edinburgh University in 1992. I hold the Certificate of Teaching English as a Foreign Language.
I have taught all levels in London, Poland and Brazil. I have taught in leading schools including International House, London. I have taught legal and business English, and helped students pass the CAE and IELTS exams.

Classes are tailored to the specific language needs of individual students.
Students are given a test to determine their general level. We then talk to determine the specific requirements of the student. For general English, usually a book is then chosen from the Cambridge Headway series.
Due attention is given to grammatical development, as well as in Speaking, Listening, Writing and Reading skills.
Students are given encouragement so they become able to express themselves clearly and confidently both in speech and on paper.
