About Lilian

Hi! I’m Lily — a qualified teacher based in the UK and the founder of Teacher Lily & Co. I’ve spent years helping children grow in confidence, improve their skills, and enjoy learning again. I became a tutor because I know that school doesn’t always give every child the space or support they need. Some children need a little extra time, a quieter environment, or someone who really listens — and that’s what I aim to provide. I especially enjoy working with children who may be anxious, struggling, or just need someone patient and encouraging in their corner. As a mum myself, I understand how important it is to feel that your child is safe, seen, and supported. Teaching is more than a job for me — it’s something I truly care about. I believe every child can succeed with the right support, and I’m here to offer that support with kindness, flexibility, and a lot of encouragement

Every lesson is tailored to meet your needs, whether you need help understanding tricky topics, building confidence, or just having someone patient to explain things clearly (and without pressure). I specialise in working with a wide range of learners, including children who might be anxious, need extra encouragement, or benefit from a more creative or flexible teaching style. I’ve taught in real classrooms and supported many students with special educational needs (SEN), so I know how to make learning feel positive, safe, and even fun. You’ll never feel rushed, judged, or talked down to. My goal is simple: to help you feel capable, proud, and ready for whatever comes next. Let’s make progress together — one step at a time.
