About Andrea
I am a graduate of an English literature university program and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts. I have worked as a magazine editor, as a tutor, and as a member of the selection jury for a creative writing journal. I have a lot of experience with academic writing -- my professors consistently told me that my work was some of the best they'd seen! -- and I have a similar amount of knowledge about editing, through editing my own work and working as an editor for a magazine and journal. I would love to help you improve your writing and literacy skills in a friendly, helpful, and fun environment!

I can teach reading comprehension or help with essay writing. My skills are best suited to someone with specific class assignments or goals they are looking to complete. e.g. writing an essay for class or a college application, writing a cover letter, or preparing for a test on a specific piece of writing. I can help you at any point in the process: coming up with ideas and an outline for your essay or cover letter etc., writing a first draft, or editing and polishing the final version.
