Alain Wenham worked at IH Manchester, a private language centre of which I am the Principal. While with us, Alain taught lessons to adults, whose levels ranged from A1 to C2 level, delivering a variety of General English and IELTS preparation classes. The learners came from a broad variety of language and educational backgrounds.

As well as this, he had a broad knowledge of modern ELT approaches, methodology and techniques, meaning that his lessons are engaging and productive. While at IH Manchester, he has been universally popular with the students while delivering strong learning outcomes.
Alain is also extremely competent delivering online lesson. He left us to work with a provider offering exclusively online classes and so has years of experience in this regard. When Covid-19 first arose and we began to move online, I invited Alain to provide training for our teachers, which was of enormous benefit to our school.
Considering his knowledge base, technical ability, and qualifications as well as his empathy towards the learners and understanding of the learning process, I can wholeheartedly attest to his expertise concerning English language teaching in person and online, particularly IELTS preparation courses.
