At first I focus on the basics how to conjugate the common verbs and understanding the most common vocabulary and build basic sentences. We continue to build vocabulary and create more complicated sentences. I try to tie-in their job/ daily goings on so they can learn faster and become more independent. I have watch small clips from movies or shows to practice their comprehension and also to songs they listen to to allow them to differentiate from what they think they hear vs what is actually said.
