About Jane
I am an English graduate from Durham university with a specialised qualification in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. I lived for 7 years in Brazil where I taught English and set up my own language school. On returning to England I worked as an English lecturer for 13 years at Mid Cheshire College.

I match my teaching methods to the needs of the student. For general English I use the communication method or (CLT) but can also use a more book based strategy for academic English such as IELTS. In the past I have created bespoke personalised English courses to companies and universities in Brazil and delivered courses to prepare for Cambridge exams, TOEFL and IELTS.
