About Georgina
I have a degree in Scientific-Literary Translation and a degree in Legal Translation, both awarded by the Universidad del Salvador (USAL, Argentina).
Since I earned my first degree in 1997, apart from translating and proofreading texts, I have been teaching English to students at all levels.
I started out as an assistant teacher at university, where I also taught technical English courses (medical and business) in the Schools of Medicine and Business Administration.
I have worked in companies such as KPMG Argentina, HSBC Bank, Banco Galicia, Movistar and Telecom, among others, delivering business English and speaking courses. I have also prepared students for international exams: Cambridge exams, GMAT, TOEFL and GRE (devised my own test-teaching method and test-taking strategy, which allowed more than 600 students enter the best postgraduate courses in the USA and Europe.)
All this experience has enabled me to teach ESP courses now to help students to achieve their goals.

My work focuses exclusively on teaching young people and adults who need English for a specific purpose (ESP).
1) Why do you need English? What’s your goal?
You may have an academic or a professional goal:
• Some examples of academic purposes: preparing for interviews or admittance tests; writing essays, emails or personal statements; reading technical text or building technical vocabulary.
• Some examples of professional goals: writing emails and reports, making presentations, preparing for and practising job interviews, etc.
• You may also need to focus on a specific language skill.
2) Who can benefit from this type of class?
Any person who has a specific short- or mid-term goal. Young people and adults who have already studied English and need to further their knowledge to accomplish a task.
3) What is the difference between ESP and ESL courses?
The main difference lies in the purpose of each course. While ESP courses focus on meeting specific needs of students, ESL courses focus on a variety of contents and subject matters, and aim to develop all language skills equally.
In ESP lessons, both contents and methodology are especially customized.
