About Irtiqa Khan

Hi, my name is Irtiqa Khan. I have been an academic tutor since 2021 and a graduate in clinical research from Jamia Hamdard. I taught English and biology in various academic institutes offline and online during COVID-19. I have experience, with Indian (CBSE, ICSE, etc.), as well as International boards.

About the lesson

Plan and design standard-based lessons for diverse groups of learners. Teach daily lessons with multiple modalities to target various learning styles, raising average grades. Created a positive classroom environment by establishing clear expectations, rules, and procedures. Maintained detailed records of student attendance and academic progress. Assessed student performance through tests, quizzes, and other assignments. Ensured all students fully comprehended the curriculum and provided individualized support to students who required extra guidance. Provided individual tutoring sessions for students requiring extra help with course material. Conducted parent-teacher conferences to discuss student progress or issues that may be affecting performance. Adapted instruction techniques based on the educational level of each student. Encouraged students to take an active role in their own education by setting goals and providing support when needed. Identified areas where additional instruction was necessary in order to meet state standards.
