About Caitlyn

Hi! My name is Caitlyn and I am an engineering student in Hamilton, Ontario. My goal is to get in degree in Chemical and Bioengineering - I strive to engineer cells and biological systems. I love being in situations where I can express my creativity through problem solving, which is why engineering is the perfect pathway for me! Having graduated from high school with honors, subjects awards in multiple subjects, and scholarships, I want to help others achieve the same success I did. Some of my interests include the arts (music, drawing, painting), running, and swimming.

About the lesson

During sessions, students will gain in depth understanding of course content; Together we will work through practice problems, lessons, and concept questions. Students get to choose the content they feel they need the most work on, isolating and improving academic weaknesses. My lessons are aimed toward middle and high school students of all ages. With experience in writing, the sciences (biology, chemistry, physics), the arts (music and visual), and math, I will provide a variety of services and unique tips that will ensure success in the course.

Perfect! Caitlyn was my advanced functions and physics tutor, which are the courses that I need for my university applications. She explained every concept thoroughly as well as answered all my questions in a clear and concise way. We would go over my textbook/school homework and then she would create her own problems for us to practice. Overall, she is a great tutor and helped me receive a high grade for both exams.

Good intuition on hoe to solve physics problems. Knows which formulas to use and can evaluate the question to determine which variables are/aren't given. Needs more practice with projectile motion problems and rearranging equations
