About Carla

I am a third year Engineering student at University of Southampton, excited about helping others in their Maths adventure. Throughout my school years, I have participated in numerous competitions and Mathematics and Sciences have always been a big part of my life. I have previously tutored students at both GCSE and A levels in Maths, as well as Physics, Chemistry and Programming. My students have had various skill levels and targets, and I have always been able to help them reach their goals.

About the lesson

I find the best way to structure my lessons is always student dependent. I put a lot on emphasis on you understanding the concepts you need to use and always want to make sure you are comfortable asking as many questions as you want.

Carla was my student.....an outstanding one and she graduated with the highest distinction(valedictorian).Because of her great mathematics knowledge and impeccable skills in explaining math she became a tutor for a large number of students, including my son.She is also very professional but in the same time she is charming and has a big heart so do not hesitate to work with her.

Carla helped me prepare for my Engineering Year 2 University Maths exams! She is patient and finds ways to explain the steps to you, making everything a lot more clear than any lecturer ever has! Would definitely recommend Carla as a maths tutor, she is very knowledgeable and clearly knows the subject material very well!
