About Lorna

I am a student in an food and agronomy engineering school in Paris, I studied at Lycée Henri IV and I also did two years of preparatory class in biology (BCPST) at Lycée Henri IV in Paris. I've always had a strong affinity with the English language, and I've made several trips to the United Kingdom and the United States to improve my skills.

About the lesson

I would like to approach the process of learning English in a fun way, using media such as books (for written comprehension), songs (to work on oral expression and comprehension as well as vocabulary), small theatrical scenes in English (to work on communication and pronunciation)... For the writing skills, I plan to favor exercises on subjects that interest the student, and on which we can then develop grammar points if necessary. For pupils in scientific preparatory classes, I can also provide services closer to the "colles" orals if necessary, and help in the search for ideas to develop interesting comments. I am someone who really likes to speak in English and who learned a lot by singing and watching films in their original version, and I therefore intend to focus my working methods on a slightly less academic and more stimulating approach for the students.

Perfect!

The price is likely to increase with travel time, as well as with the level of the student (especially for preparatory classes students, where the work will require a more in-depth approach in order to prepare them for the final exams).
