About Christopher

Hello dear! I am Christopher, a passionate teacher with 7 years physical classroom experience and 1 year online classroom experience. I am a highly motivated teacher with discipline and good moral values. Effective in time management, teaching even the slow learners, working as a team, meeting deadlines among others. I put in my best in classroom management both physical and virtual and I maintain a good teacher to student’s relationship. I work efficiently with online tools such as; Zoom, Skype, Google Classroom, Google Meet, Desmos, GeoGebra for effective teaching. In my class I work you through different math problems with detailed explanations and steps. Each example is broken down with steps for easy understanding. If you are aiming for mastery in math areas such as; Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry, Calculus, Statistics and Probability then you are at the right place when you attend my class. Book a lesson with me and stand a chance of; Achieving your goals in mathematics. Scoring high in your mathematics exams. Asking questions and getting answers in a well-explained manner. Learning each math topic using steps that will guide you to solve the problem. Solving math problems like a pro without using a calculator. Relating math problems to real-life events for easy understanding.

About the lesson

Hi, my name is Christopher, a graduate of Petroleum Engineering from the University of Uyo. I have taught in different schools in the past 7 years. I present mathematics using detailed explanation and in-depth analysis of any topic. I teach even the slow learners and I make my class interactive and engaging. I use group work in the class to let the students work as a team and collaborate. I have 7 years of teaching experience, teaching middle grade and high school both in a physical classroom and online class. I have taught areas of math such as: Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, Statistics and Probability. Over the years, I have taught higher grade and high school. I begin my class by checking up on the pupils/students to ensure they are ready for the class, asking them about what they learned in the previous class, giving them the objectives of the lesson, introducing the new topic with detailed illustration using real-life events. I explain the examples using steps. Engage the students with class work, quizzes and group work. At the end of the class, I evaluate the students to ensure the objectives are met and they understand the topic. I close the class with an assignment and I mark them before the next class and send to them on Google Classroom. I make use of tools like Zoom, Skype, Google Classroom, Google Meet, Desmos and GeoGebra for my online classes. Each session of my class lasts for 1hr:30min
