About Jennifer
As a certified teacher since 2003, I have taught students in Elementary, Middle and College Prep. I truly love what I do and enjoy seeing students benefit from learning new things or learning in a different way.

I have a strong passion for math and helping other not only learn the concepts but have fun while doing it. Math is more than just memorizing facts and formulas but understanding why and how to do the math so it not only makes sense now but as you continue to learn throughout your educational career.
I typically begin all lessons with a review of material that will help lead into the current topic. As we have done over the short review I then break down the new concept in a mini lesson with practice problems. After working through practice together we will play an interactive game or activity applying what we have learned during that mini lesson. After this is complete I will always have a mini-follow up assessment to determine your level of understanding of the topic!
