I am an extremely committed and passionate educator with nothing giving me greater pleasure than seeing a student fulfil their potential.
Having spent the last two years teaching mathematics at an international school located in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia ( The world's coldest capital city) I bring an adaptability and unique perspective to my tutoring, as well as an ability to achieve success with students from a wide variety of backgrounds

Often the case with mathematics is that students find the subject to be dull or difficult because they don't see the topics studied as being relevant to their lives.
Therefore, my teaching approach is centred on helping students to relate mathematical concepts to their everyday life in order to gain an excellent understanding of the subject.
I enjoy creating an energetic and dynamic atmosphere in my lessons.
It is also my belief that it is essential to build a good rapport with students from the outset. By building connections with each student and tailoring lessons to their interests, I aim to foster a supportive environment for effective learning.

My lessons begin with either a starter activity to gently introduce a new topic to the student, or with a short revision task to gauge the level of knowledge the student has retained since the previous lesson.
Over the course of a lesson I aim to keep the student engaged with new challenges, all the while ensuring that the student is gaining a deep understanding of the subject.
In most cases I will end the level with a short quiz or game to assess how much progress the student has made during the session.
