About Sophia
I started my yoga journey in Chicago, before moving to Anchorage, Alaska during the pandemic. I found yoga again there, and found a sanctuary like no other. Yoga helped me to regain the connection between my mind and body and feel safe again in it after years of sustained trauma. Bringing these tools, ranging from somatic experiencing to gentle breath work, to individuals seeking healing and grounding is the most rewarding endeavor.

I teach flow, yin, and power yoga with a warm, trauma-informed approach. My sessions blend personalized guidance with upbeat, carefully curated playlists designed to help you Sync your breath, movement, and energy so each class feels empowering, grounded, and uniquely yours.
I am a certified 200 RYT with a passion for making yoga accessible and palatable, for the beginner to the advanced yogi.
