About Ashley
I love teaching young children to read and develop math fluency skills. I continue to learn new ways to engage students and best practices in teaching. I have worked with students that are learning letter sounds, blending, multi-syllabic words, and fluency. I have taught kindergarten for 4 years, second grade for 10 years, and I now mentor teachers for them to become strong math and reading teachers at my school for the past 3 years.

I have worked at an IB school for 13 years. I teach trough inquiry and games. I have a lot of hands on materials for students. This allows them to manipulate words for understanding. I have many activities so the time goes quickly.
