About Ali

As an electrical engineer, my life is immersed in math, physics, and programming. I graduated with one of the highest GPAs in my department and went on to work as a research scholar at EPFL, one of the world's top engineering schools in Switzerland in an extremely competitive program. Currently, I am pursuing a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering at the University of Alberta, maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA, which reflects my proficiency and dedication. With several years of experience teaching both university and high school students, I have proved my ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively. I firmly believe that the way you do anything is the way you do everything, and I strive for excellence in all that I undertake. When and why did you develop an interest in your chosen field?
My interest in math and physics started early on-they were the subjects that made the most sense to me. I loved solving problems and understanding how things work. That interest naturally led me to study engineering, where both subjects are essential.
What makes you passionate about your subject?
Math and physics explain the world around us. I enjoy how they build logic and critical thinking. It's satisfying to help students see how even the toughest problems can be broken down into simple, clear steps.
What do you like about tutoring? What makes you a "Superprof"?
I like seeing the moment when a concept clicks for a student. I focus on understanding, not memorization, and I adapt my teaching to the student's pace. What makes me a "Superprof" is that I bring patience, structure, and real problem-solving skills to every session.

Yes-my high school physics teacher made a big impact. He showed how powerful clear explanations and real-world examples can be. That's something I've tried to carry into my own teaching.
