About Jenny
With **18 years of teaching experience**, I bring a wealth of knowledge, patience, and proven strategies to every lesson. Throughout my career, I have worked with students at different grade levels and with a variety of learning needs, giving me a strong understanding of how children learn and how to make instruction engaging and effective.
I hold a **Master’s degree in Reading and Literacy**, which has provided me with specialized training in reading instruction, comprehension, phonics, vocabulary, writing, and literacy development. I also hold an **Educational Specialist degree**, reflecting my continued commitment to advanced learning and professional growth.
My experience and education allow me to provide students with purposeful, individualized instruction that builds both academic skills and confidence. My goal is not simply to help students complete their work, but to teach them **strategies they can use independently to become stronger, more confident learners.**

Students should take lessons from me because I create a supportive, engaging, and positive learning environment where every child can succeed. As an experienced early education teacher, I use proven strategies and hands-on activities to help students build strong academic skills while also growing in confidence and independence.
I understand that every child learns differently, so I tailor instruction to meet each student’s individual needs and learning style. My lessons focus on developing foundational reading, writing, math, and problem-solving skills in ways that are fun, meaningful, and age-appropriate.
