I base my classes on the expectations of the person wanting to draw.
The level of experience of the applicant is not relevant in the method that I use, as a set of drawings skills will be acquired/practiced during the course.
I am a practicing artist working in the media of drawing, photography and painting, with experience in facilitating beginners and advanced drawing skills and method.
I have exhibition experience and have shown work in various galleries and have taken part in group exhibitions and art festivals.

I make images using the media of drawing, photography and painting. My concerns are with the basic elements and principles of form, space and texture and I use various subjects to explore these interests.
In my studio practice I balance 3 disciplines; drawing, photography and painting. Drawing as an autonomous form of expression is important to me, and I try to develop the expressive quality of mark making and the building of a rich tonal quality that reveals the form. In my lens-based practice I use the technical facets of analog photography and darkroom practice to explore similar formal concerns.
I try to develop a sense of the texture of surfaces, develop the richness of nuances in black and white, and to create a tactile tonal quality.
I perceive and illustrate things per se, which often results in semi- abstract motifs with ambivalent interpretations and associations of form.
My images tend to focus not primarily on narrative content , as much as on the surface quality and the intriguing inherent aesthetic of the particular chosen object or subject matter.
