About Jason
I graduated from the University of Phoenix in 2015 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elenentary Education, and again in 2016 with a Master of Arts Degree in Education. I graduated from Western Oregon University in 2020 with a Master of Science Degree in special education. I have been active as a middle school special education teacher specializing in math and language arts support for the past four years. My students range from first grade understanding of math up to around fourth grade understanding and have achieved between A and C grades in middle school math after my support classes.

My lessons are in depth but simple to follow. I follow an I do - we do - you do model of teaching that combines visual supports with verbal instruction, and opportunities for student practice which I will guide and provide feedback for in real time. Students will learn the material and retain the material with my guided lessons. I have turned failing math students into students earning C’s or higher in grade level math with structured and scaffolded teaching methods in a very short period of time.
