My lessons are individualized to each student! With current employment by a university as a microbiology and cellular biology tutor, I have experience preparing pedagogical materials and effectively communicating confusing concepts. I first like to get a strong idea of the specific goals the student has and provide them with some material to test their baseline knowledge. From there, I move at an individualized pace with each student, learning their individual strengths and weaknesses. I also love to inspire students to deeply understand topics with my own passion for science! If applicable, I may provide homework to students to solidify concepts.
As a current Doctoral student and a recent recipient of a Bachelors of Art in Biological Sciences with honors designation, I have a strong understanding of the material that would be taught. I am a great recourse for learning study strategies, which is applicable to all levels of learning.
I offer lessons to a wide span of leaners! I would like to offer science based tutelage to middle school, high school, and college level students. At the college level, I can offer tutoring in a wide array of science courses, such as: general chemistry, general biology, microbiology, cellular biology, evolution, and many others.
