Hi, I’m James! I’m a professional digital and traditional illustrator with over 9 years of hands-on experience managing client projects and working across a wide variety of mediums. If you want to master digital tools like Procreate, ibisPaint X, and Clip Studio Paint, or immerse into traditional media like charcoal, graphite, and watercolor, I’m here to guide you.
I bring live, personalized online lessons for all skill levels. Whether you have zero experience and just want a fun creative outlet, or you're an intermediate artist looking to sharpen your skills, we will cover the core principles of art at your own pace. I offer live, one-on-one virtual art lessons (via Google Meet or Zoom) tailored specifically to your unique learning style and goals.
Wherever you are in art, starting completely from scratch or looking to build on the basics, I will provide step-by-step guidance and references to help you succeed. Sessions typically run 1 to 3 hours, with flexible scheduling available to fit your needs. I have extensive experience working on professional commissions and art projects, and I bring that industry knowledge into a very open, friendly, and supportive teaching environment.
My classes are open to all ages. I am really looking forward to teaching you and helping you grow as an artist! (Professional portfolio available upon request).
