About Sooraj
Hi, I’m Sooraj. I’m a B.A. (Hons) student at Hindu College, University of Delhi, with a strong academic focus on History. My work and interests are especially rooted in key areas: e.g. history, political theory, philosophy, cultural studies, etc. and I enjoy helping students make sense of complex ideas through clear explanation and discussion. I’ve consistently performed well academically and have experience engaging with texts, arguments, and exam-oriented writing at a rigorous level. I enjoy exploring novel topics and I led and organized an exhibition on the History of Tea in my college. I believe good teaching is built on clarity, patience, and trust. I aim to create a learning environment that is structured, respectful, and encouraging—where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing confidence in their thinking. If you’re looking for guidance that balances academic seriousness with approachability, I’d be glad to work with you.

Firstly, I will give a lecture and a small quiz. I'll hand out a personalized reading along with exercise material such as flashcards and MCQ for the student. Based on this assessment, I'll provide a compensatory lecture if required. I can teach students of all ages. I believe in working with the student according to their needs and wishes.
