About Fin
Hello! I'm Fin. I'm 20 years old and studying music at Durham University.
Outside of term, I live in Redruth near Truro and give lessons in my studio.
Since coming to uni, I have allowed my schedule to be totally taken up with: attending classical concerts; participating in them myself (also being a cello player); organising small ensembles, broadening my understanding of the canon by sitting my ABRSM Grade 6 theory; transcribing; orchestrating; composing work myself; and so on and so on. Music is all I do here… and to tell you the truth, I love it.

With a background of performing and teaching in youth theatre during my gap year (as well as giving in-person lessons at my studio in Cornwall), I provide a level of energy, creativity, and strong technical foundation that is instrumental in the development of musicality.
Sessions can be tailored to all ages and abilities, whether you're a complete beginner or preparing for your first exams (theory or practical up to grade 5).
I am friendly, flexible, patient, and always focused on your progress.
