About Easha
I am a second-year Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) student at The Cooper Union and a graduate of The Dalton School in New York City. Having recently navigated the competitive college admissions process myself, I understand the challenges students face when building portfolios and applying to art, design, and architecture programs.
My goal is to help students create compelling work through thoughtful storytelling, strong presentation, and authentic self-expression. I combine honest, constructive feedback with empathy and encouragement, creating a supportive environment where students can grow creatively and confidently. As someone who has spent my entire life in New York City, I am also happy to share insights about college life, architecture school, and pursuing creative fields. In my free time, I enjoy drawing, exercising, and baking.

My tutoring approach is tailored to each student's needs and where they are in the portfolio-building process. For some students, this means starting from scratch: reviewing their work, identifying strengths, and selecting pieces that create a cohesive and compelling body of work. For others, it may involve refining an existing portfolio, developing new projects, writing artwork descriptions, or preparing for specific school requirements.
A typical lesson includes portfolio review, goal setting, feedback on current work, and discussion of next steps. I aim to provide both practical guidance and creative support throughout the application process.
What sets me apart is my experience across both fine arts and architecture. My background includes graphite, colored pencil, charcoal, hand drafting, and 3D modeling, and I have firsthand experience applying to competitive art, design, and architecture programs. As a current architecture student who recently completed the college application process, I offer relevant, up-to-date insights.
These lessons are designed for high school juniors and rising seniors interested in art, design, or architecture programs. I strive to be a reliable mentor—someone who can provide the guidance and encouragement that many students may lack during this challenging process.
