About Isla
I want to teach to help students pass their exams with as little stress and possible and hopefully inspire them to have a love of biology and maybe one day a career in STEM. I also aim to give them some extra knowledge that often isn't taught in schools.

I like teaching Biology in preparation for exams, but I also enjoy teaching Biology to students who just want to learn more in depth information that isn't always taught in school. I use many methods but often find that visual methods such as diagrams work best for most people. A lesson lasts an hour and I am available to teach at the weekends between 9am - 4pm and certain days through the week.
I recently sat all of my SCQF level exams (achieved Biology and Chemistry at Advanced Higher) and am now in my second year studying Biochemistry and Microbiology at the University of Strathclyde. I used to help out and teach National 5 classes while still studying in secondary school. This means that I understand the way the current exams are and how to pass them with flying colours.
