About Lavinia

I'm a nursing student and I am excited to share my knowledge to avid students looking to enhance their intelligence. With years of experience in being a teacher assistant in Abacus (mental math) and Biology, I aim to be able to show some learning/studying techniques and guide students to an overall successful academic life.

About the lesson

My lesson plans include online and in-person options (depending on location. With an experience in being a teacher assistant in the sciences and math, I know what is needed to occur in order for students to learn efficiently. Instead of approaching the curriculum with the mindset to just memorize, I strive to educate my students with understanding in order for them to maintain the knowledge long term.
My lesson plans are aimed towards students who want to learn instead of being forced to. I like to provide extra work for the student to do at home, in which I would check up on the next class I have with them.

What I tutor-
English (grammar, vocabulary, etc.): Grade 1-12
General Sciences: Grade 1-9
Chemistry: Grade 6-11
Biology: Grade 6-10
French: Grade 1-8
Math: Grade 1-8

For all of the above subjects, I also provide modified teaching towards students of the Enhanced program.
