About Zoya

I am a dedicated university student with a strong academic background in Biology and Chemistry. Having recently navigated the GCSE and A-Level curricula myself, I understand firsthand the pressure students face and the specific revision strategies that actually lead to top grades. My goal is to make science accessible, engaging, and far less daunting. I love helping students bridge the gap between memorising textbook facts and genuinely understanding core concepts. Seeing a student’s confidence grow as challenging topics suddenly click is the most rewarding part of tutoring.
I take a patient, structured, and friendly approach to every session, ensuring your child always feels supported, encouraged, and fully prepared to reach their academic potential.

About the lesson

Science doesn't have to be overwhelming. As a university student, I help Key Stage 3 and GCSE students build genuine confidence and master tricky concepts across both Biology and Chemistry. What My Lessons Offer: Exam Technique & Mark Schemes: Teaching students how to structure answers to match examiners' criteria, avoid common pitfalls, and secure top marks.
Tailored Pace & Encouragement: Creating a supportive, patient environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and overcoming difficult topics.
Active Practice: Using past papers, targeted quizzes, and clear visual aids to reinforce memory and application.
Whether your child needs a confidence boost ahead of exams or ongoing support to stay ahead of the curriculum, every lesson is adapted entirely to their individual learning style and exam board syllabus.
