About Gina

I graduated from Loyola University Chicago with my Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, Summa Cum Laude with a minor on Bioethics and in the Interdisciplinary Honors Program. Throughout college, I served as a TA and provided one-on-one tutoring services for Loyola’s Achieving College Excellence program with first generation college students. Courses I have tutored in include general biology and chemistry, organic chemistry, physics, calculus, quantitative chemistry, psychology, and history.

About the lesson

As a former teacher’s assistant in STEM courses, I have not only gained mastery in rigorous courses but developed the skills necessary to teach difficult content to others and a variety of different learning styles. I am patient and adaptable to students needs. Most importantly, I am invested in helping students become more comfortable with taking responsibility for their learning and developing stronger critical thinking skills.
