About Jaren

I have been a math teacher for 12 years, all across ages. I have a BS in Criminal Justice and an MED in Elementary Education. I specialize in working with struggling students and teaching materials in different methods to assist.

My teaching method is to getting to understand my students likes, learning modality and basic foundations and using that to help them understand concepts better. I believe that students don't have to learn the concept the "book way" per se as long as they can arrive at the correct answer.
