About Soroosh
As a former GATE student with a Bachelor's and MBA in Finance from Cal State Fullerton, I bring both academic excellence and real-world experience to my tutoring. I’ve taught college-level Economics and Finance for 1.5+ years and privately tutored in my university’s business school across six different subjects. I specialize in a wide range of subjects—from Math and Business to English—tailoring each session to the student’s unique needs. My teaching style is personable and engaging, filled with real-world examples and motivating incentives that help students stay connected and actually enjoy learning. Many of my students keep coming back—not just for results, but because they feel supported and understood. Outside the classroom, I’m passionate about sports and coaching. I’ve led my high school’s soccer team and coached middle school basketball, giving me the ability to connect with students both academically and personally.
