Hi, I’m Jayant, a Computer Science student at IIIT. I teach Algebra with the belief that most students don’t struggle because math is hard, but because it isn’t explained clearly enough.
In my classes, I focus on understanding first, not memorizing. I take time to see where a student is getting stuck and explain concepts in a simple, logical way. If something doesn’t make sense the first time, I’m happy to explain it again using a different approach.
I usually start each class with a quick check of what the student already knows. Then we move step by step through new concepts, solving problems together and discussing why each step works. I encourage students to think out loud and ask questions without hesitation.
My teaching style is patient, calm, and supportive. Since I’m a student myself, I understand the pressure of exams, homework deadlines, and confusing topics. I aim to create a comfortable environment where making mistakes is part of learning, not something to be afraid of.
