About Krystal
I am a credentialed teacher who has been working as a teacher for five years across a variety of subject and content areas. I currently work with youth who require a lot of content differentiation to meet their individual needs. I primarily have worked in educational settings that work specifically with youth who are navigating trauma and have had a hard time accessing services in a typical education classroom. As a tutor, I believe this makes me qualified to work with a variety of students who need additional support that they might not be getting in their daily classrooms. As a bonus, I have access to helpful curriculum that can be utilized in our tutoring sessions.

My approach to tutoring is to get to know you as an individual learner by working directly with you to create lessons that focus on creating new areas of strength. My daily method of teaching includes differentiation of content to make sure that we're targeting your areas of need. Each lesson will be centered around your individual needs and will vary in frequency and duration depending on what is needed to help you grow. I currently teach 2nd-12th grade science, reading intervention and art, but I have experience in teaching 3rd-8th grade ELA, Math, History,- Science and art.
