About Max
I am a Creative Writing masters student at the University of Glasgow. I completed my undergraduate degree at the same university in English Literature and Portuguese, receiving a first class degree. I have worked and studied in Brazil and am currently based in Glasgow where I work as a poetry editor, poetry translator and freelance writer.

Whilst I base my classes on the specific needs of each student, a large part of my approach consists of close reading through the students work and teaching them how to adapt and improve specific components. I also believe that one of my roles as tutor is to recommend reading materials and assign writing tasks for the students to complete in their own time.
