"Hi everyone! I’m Sonali Sharma, and I am so excited to be your art and craft guide this year. Before we look at any supplies, I want to tell you a secret: I don’t care if you think you’re 'bad at art.' In this room, talent isn't a magical skill you're born with—it's just a muscle we build by experimenting.
My promise to you is that my class will be different. I’m not here to make you copy me; I’m here to help you bring your own wild ideas to life. We are going to make messes, we are going to make 'beautiful mistakes,' and we are going to build cool things. My only rule? Come in with an open mind and a willingness to try."
