About Tara
Music has been a huge part of my life since I was five years old. I began playing the violin at seven and went on to receive over 13 years of musical training, including specialist music education in Southeast Europe and two years studying Violin Performance at a Conservatory in Vienna. My musical background goes far beyond one instrument. Alongside violin, I studied solo singing, music theory, solfège, music history, ensemble and orchestral performance. I also trained in solo singing at one of the leading specialist music schools, where I progressed a year ahead. Performance has always been an important part of my musical journey. I have performed as a soloist, in choirs, and orchestras, taken part in musical theatre, recorded in professional studio settings as both a lead and backing vocalist, and performed in different cities and internationally — including in front of an audience of around 3,000 people in Macedonia. I have also taken part in international competitions, achieving third place in a violin competition, as well as receiving first place in a singing and composition competition when I was younger. Outside of classical music, I love singing, songwriting and exploring different ways of creating music. I write my own songs and continue to develop creatively alongside my academic studies.
I am currently studying Languages with a focus on German, where my degree also explores culture, history and politics alongside language. This international background has shaped the way I communicate and connect with people from different cultures. Having experienced music from so many different perspectives, as a student, performer, singer, instrumentalist and songwriter, I want my lessons to be a place where students can build strong musical foundations while also discovering what they personally enjoy about music. I can also offer support in English and German where helpful. While violin has been my principal instrument for over 13 years, I am not currently offering violin lessons. However, I hope to introduce them in the near future.

My lessons are personalised around you — your level, your goals and, most importantly, the kind of musician you want to become. Whether you want to develop your singing voice, understand music theory, improve your musical ear, learn to read music or simply become more confident and expressive, we’ll shape the lessons around what you want to achieve. Depending on your interests, lessons can include:
• Singing, vocal confidence and musical expression
• Music theory and music reading
• Solfège and ear training
• Rhythm, pitch, scales and intervals • General musicianship and musical understanding
• Performance confidence and interpretation
• Support with songwriting and developing your own musical ideas
I believe that strong musical foundations are important, but learning music shouldn’t feel intimidating or overly rigid.
Having experienced both formal conservatory training and different areas of performance, I like to combine structure with creativity and adapt my approach to the individual student.
Complete beginners are very welcome, as are students who already have musical experience and want to develop particular skills. Lessons can be adapted for children, teenagers and adults.
My aim is for you to leave each lesson not only having learned something new, but feeling more confident, curious and excited about music.
Please note: although violin has been my principal instrument for over 13 years, I am not currently offering violin lessons. I hope to introduce these in the near future.
