About Ahmed

So, you hate math. I get it, I really do. I used to be the same, honestly. I can't convince you out of that, but I can definitely bump those numbers up on your finals' grades. I have been taught math badly before, and I learned the mistakes that most teachers make. I tutored for 2 years throughout my high-school years, and self-studied maths intensively for 3.

My method of instruction was slightly unconventional since the start, but over the years I've modified it radically in order to make it more efficient. I believe no two people learn the same- hence the failure of the school system, and as such I personalize my style based on my client's learning style, background, and personality. You're in good hands...(I think)

About the lesson

Though my first experiences with math weren't very positive, over the years, I came the realization that the reason I sucked wasn't the difficulty of the math itself, it was the way my teachers presented it; you have to walk before you run, and the traditional methods of school do a great job of trying to make everyone sprint before they're even ready!

Over time, however, I came to discover an aptitude for math that I never thought I had! And eventually, a deep and sincere love. My method of instruction is novel and unconventional, but I've seen it do wonders. I can't promise you love, but I can promise results.

My method emphasizes the following:
1. a deep focus on understanding via intuition and geometric logic
2. facilitating an application of daily intuition to mathematical ideas
3. Focused and varied practice designed to give way understanding, avoiding repetitive and boring exercises that attack a given idea from the same angle.
4. Flexibility of technique based on background of the learner.

My services are offered to college/university students who take applied math classes and sob remorsefully over every exam paper, high-school students and younger, and anyone looking to brush up on their math skills.
